5 Volt Linear Power Supply
CALEX Mfg. Co., Inc of Concord, California announces the
Model 1.5.500 encapsulated linear power supply. The 1.5.500 has an output
of 5 Volts DC and offers up to 500mA output current.
The unit is AC powered by 115V. Other AC input options include 100, 220, 230
and 240VAC. The 1.5.500 measures 3.5" x 2.5"
x 0.88"H and offers an industry standard pin configuration. The 1.5.500
is backed by Calex’s five year warranty.
The 1.5.500 is characterized by tight regulation, low noise and outstanding
stability. The voltage accuracy of the 1.5.500 is ±1.0%. Line and load
regulation is ±0.10%. Output noise is 1mV RMS. The unit features foldback
current limiting so the output can be shorted indefinitely without damage.
The 1.5.500 is isolated input to output. The case operating temperature range
is -25 to +50°C. Storage range is -25 to +85°C.
Optional PC board mounting kits are available for backplane or rack mounting.
The MK215-08BDV offers screw terminal connections for chassis mount applications.
The MK215-022 consists of a PC board with a 22 pin connector for use in racks.
Two screws hold the power supply firmly in place on the PC card without need
of soldering.
