announces the 8900 Series Isolated Transitters. The Series offers 16 Models
with a variety of voltage and current input and output combinations. All models
provide three way isolation, eliminating problems associated with multiple
grounds and ground loops. The units are also ideal for signal conversion,
such as taking a 0-10 Volts signal and converting it to a 4-20 mA signal for
transmission over long distances.
The 8901 through 8908 provide an isolated 0-10 Volt output. Input options
are 0-50mV, 0-100mV, 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-100V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-50mA. The input
resistance for the voltage input models is 1 Megohm. The input resistance
for the current input models is 50 Ohms. The linearity of the 8901-8908 is
±0.02%. Accuracy is typically ±0.1%. The response time of the
Voltage input models is 10 ms. Ripple and noise full scale is 0.05%. The isolation
voltage is 700 VDC.
The 8911 through 8918 provide an isolated 4-20mA output. Input options are
0-50mV, 0-100mV, 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-100V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-50mA. The input resistance
for the voltage input models is 1 Megohm. The input resistance for the current
input models is 50 Ohms. The linearity of the 8901-8908 is ±0.02%.
Accuracy is typically ±0.1%. The response time of the Voltage input
models is 10 ms. Ripple and noise full scale is 0.05%. The isolation voltage
is 700 VDC.
All models in the 8900 Series are powered by 24 Volts DC nominal. The DIN
rail mount housing measures 4.33"H x 0.895"W x 2.95"L. The
operating temperature range of the 8900 Series is 0°C to +55°C. Storage
range is -40°C to +85°C. All 8900 Series models are UL 508 and 1604 approved. All models are backed by CALEX’s five year warranty.
